Last week we had the pleasure to visit a few kids very special. They are hosted temporally in the home of Ronald Valencia. We went to brighten up their evening with the story of Broccolin, games and pictures to paint.
The Houses Ronald are homes seasonal for families who needs to be close to the hospital. They offer to the families a way to be together, near the hospital where it takes place a long-term treatment of a boy or girl, so that they are as comfortable as possible and feel aided during their stay.
We visited the house of Valencia, where we could be with kids 8 to 12 years and, for a moment, they forget why are they there. They were there and have fun together with our favorite vegetables. We play the game of colors, they told us what were their fruits and vegetables favorite and taught us what they had learned from the school on healthy eating. Also we read together the story of “The adventures of Broccolin” and we had as guest of honor at the super giant teddy of Broccolin.We conclude the day painting Broccolin with his backpack and face radiant.
